But the way this year started did not look not much promising so far. We are under the constant Threat ever since the year has started.
We saw some Most powerful Nations on the verge of War. 3 January Qasem Soleimani 's one of Iran's most senior military figures which was killed in a US drone strike. News channels, social media was flodded with war like situation threatening the humanity as it could turn into a World war if not avoided. There was a lot of talking about US-IRAN and also about repeated confrontations between India and Pakistan which took the attention worldwide.
We also witnessed the great ˜Bush-Fire˜ in Australian Forests, destroying miles in the forest and wildlife residing in it. The pictures circulated over the media were devastating, as how much damage it did such a huge scale.
Then we also came across the protests in India regarding CAA and NRC bill in India. It seemed like the Nation was divided into multiple sections and varied viewpoints. People were on roads, public properties were destroyed, protesting violently. There was lot of chaos and seemed like the Govt. was helpless, the law and order was helpless as a small protest against a Bill, turned into a hatred game. It felt there were non-stop debates going on always on the television screens. And then the protests turned into religious riots! People were dying now.
Out of all this, a news flashed about some Virus in China which was mysteriously killing people. Some of us just took it as a shocking news, while for some it failed to gain any attention because of many other important ongoing issues.Then the news started to spread like fire as more and more videos were circulated, more and more people dying. Still some of us were shocked, but not that intrigued by such facts.
Soon it was reported that Virus has landed the country and few people have been affected. This number kept on increasing day by day. Now people started learning about it. There were circulated messages, people were talking next to us, so we had to know what was it all about.
By the time we were exploring what was it all about, the virus landed our cities now, and soon our NEIGHBOURHOOD. Now we started to panic a bit. We never thought that this could happen to US on day? We never thought it could affect us one day? We never imagined we could ever be impacted by a thousand miles virus entering our homes.
Very soon, it started to impact our routine life. Our grocery stock, our food supply, our mode of transport and our social life.
Suddenly all the news got dissapeared and it was only COVID-19 now. Soon a day came when the cities were shut down and roads were empty. Now everyone was concerned about just one thing- Their Protection, their families protection, their loved ones protection.
So what does it tell us? What did we learn from this? What should be the take aways from this?
Is it a kind of hint or a warning from this Universe or the almighty? There has been theories and predictions from the greatest of the Astrologers that depict the World may end or at least face severe impacts. So the year 2020 is falling under the same threat?
No matter what happens to this world, we do not care much thinking we could never be impacted by it. We feel relaxed and how could it ever happen to us? We do not empathise for those who suffered or survived this phase, we hardly care about it.
But this one Virus has United the World, leaving all other Disputes aside, the entire humanity stands unite to fight the culprit now, because now we have learnt that we are not 'Untouched' by it. Hence we want to save life, for us, for our loved ones...¦and that is Humanity..
Life is also similar to this. We do not understand the pain of others until we face it, until we are threatened by it, until we are hit by it. It is time to learn from it and stand unite for your near ones, for the known, for the unknowns, and for the sake of Human Race..
